Cara Fucci has been a writer of children’s books for 32 years. Her first book, “Ollie loves Socks” was the start of her writing career and her many characters have entranced and captivated children of many ages. Cara was raised in a household with many brothers and sisters and became an aunt at a young age. From her very earliest years of childhood, Cara would read to her nephews and nieces and entertain them with her lively and energetic narration. After having her own children and knowing the value of reading to them, she began to write stories that were meant to be shared out loud. Cara is also a painter that soon discovered she could pair the two together with love. Her use of vibrant color is even more affirmation of her whimsical personality. Now, Cara is a devoted grandmother that embraces playtime and reading time with her favorite little people.
