Sally Rides Single centers around Sally Shaw (55), who is dumped for a woman half her age after 30 years of marriage and thrust back into the workforce just when her contemporaries are planning their retirement. Smarting from the hurt and embarrassment resulting from the divorce, she eschews any further commitment and focuses instead on finding men interested in relations, without the relationship. Unfortunately, Sally’s first attempt at “just sex” lands her in the arms of a co-worker, Bill Pruitt (52), a man searching for someone special to replace his deceased wife.
