Never Ending Trauma from Korean War My father is suffering from the Korean War trauma even these days, over 65 years after the war ended. He has frequent dreams in which he is startled by the sound of the gun shots, throwing of hand grenades, and killing of each other. While growing up as a little boy, my father was surrounded by wonderful loving parents. All this changed when he was forced into the war, experiencing terror, rage and sadness. These emotions have left a deep mark within him, and still haunt him to this day, with vivid flashbacks and much pain.
