The 94-page catalog illustrates 44 excellent objects and includes a very informative essay on the early German exploration of the Ramu River (Ottilien Fluss) by Bettina Von Lintig. There are superb examples of Oceanic art from the Ramu River, Karawari caves, Papuan Gulf, New Guinea Highlands, Polynesia and an ancient southeast Australian aboriginal parrying shield. The catalog is softcover but printed on heavy, high-quality paper.
