ABOUT THE BOOK

Karla Alejandro is a young author from Sunnyvale, California. Though she struggled with shyness as a child, Karla has since found her voice through poetry and is passionate about encouraging others to speak their minds through writing, as well. All humans are filled with wonder and emotion, waiting to be heard – and Karla believes that poetry is the ultimate outlet for people to share their voices because it doesn’t have rules. Karla writes poetry freely as a form of self-expression, and she hopes you will enjoy doing the same as you respond to the poems in this book. If you would like to share any of your poems, Karla would love to read them! Simply e-mail them to thepoetweallcarryinside@gmail.com. Thank you for reading!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Karla Alejandro

Growing up, I began to isolate myself from people. I didn’t like talking to people, I was too shy to even say hi. I never understood why I was so introverted! This led me to write, I may not be a person of many words but when I write it’s like I can’t stop speaking. I strongly believe we all carry poets inside. We are all humans filled with wonder and emotion, waiting to be heard. Poetry doesn’t have rules, it doesn’t have a “step by step;” you just write poetry freely. Just self-expression! I strongly encourage you to keep writing! If you ever want to share any of your poems, just e-mail me at thepoetweallcarryinside@gmail.com
