Daereonni Y Ragland

Daereonni Yvonne Ragland is a member of the St. Luke Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri, under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Jimmy L. Brown. She has served in numerous leadership roles there including Director of Christian Education and Dean. Ms. Ragland has served as Congress President and twice as Dean of the Berean Missionary Baptist District Association. She now has the privilege of serving as 3rd Vice-President in the Missionary Baptist State Congress of Christian Education of Missouri under the leadership of Dr. Relda D. Owens-Mathews. Ms. Ragland holds a Master degree in Management from Fontbonne University, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from St. Louis University; she received her certification in Early Childhood Education from Harris-Stowe State University and is a certified teacher in the state of Missouri. Daereonni is a 2014 recipient of the “Regional Dean of the Year Award.” presented by the Division of Christian Education Accreditation and Credentials’ (SSPB). Her most treasured award is the “Cordelia B. Taylor Christian Educator’s Award” presented to her by the Christian Education Ministry of St. Luke Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
