Christopher Reed

CHRISTOPHER REED is a screenwriter, novelist, producer, screenwriting teacher and cat guy. He has written and developed screenplays for Disney Feature Animation, Turner Animation, Hanna Barbera, Sony Pictures, and other Hollywood studios and production companies. He teaches screenwriting for the popular Los Angles writing school, The Writing Pad. His produced screenplays include THE SIXTH MAN (Touchstone/Disney) and YOU WISH (The Disney Channel). He has recently written and developed feature animation scripts for the Chinese companies Mili Pictures and Wawayu China. His first novel in the Manx McCatty saga, THE BIG SCRATCH, was published by Ballantine Books. THE BLACK CLAW, the second Manx novel, was previously published in Europe under the title CURSE OF THE WHITE CAT. He is pleased to offer it to domestic readers (as well as domestic short-hairs), now in this new release. He has recently authored a book of short stories, THE BONE FACTORY AND OTHER STORIES OF THE SUPERNATURAL and is currently producing the independent film SHARKPUNCHING IN AMERCIA, written by his wife, novelist and singer-songwriter Cynthia Carle. Besides writing and his fondness for cats, his interests include pretty much every animal species on the planet, quantum physics, the cosmos, supernatural phenomena, fine red wines and stinky cheeses and pursuing the very elusive opportunity to sit somewhere in solitude and read a book.
