G. Gage Skinner

Gage Skinner, aka “Skinner”, is a cultural anthropologist and native of Seattle, Washington. He has served in various professional capacities with the Peace Corps in Latin America, the Oklahoma State Park system, and the US National Park Service, Rocky Mountain Region. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct university professor at North Idaho College, the University of San Diego, Cuyamaca College, and San Diego State University. Skinner has been an off-and on resident of San Diego and San Diego county’s rural back-country for over sixty years, thirty of which have been spent pursuing his interest in historical re-enactment and the Rocky Mountain fur trade of circa 1825 — 1840.
