ABOUT THE BOOK

Meissen has intrigued collectors since it was first produced, in 1710. The more-than-300-year-old Meissen Manufactory in Germany created some of the West’s most influential patterns and figures, and is still in production today. The most important Meissen pieces are the earliest ones, and "Early Meissen Porcelain - The Michael Greenberger Collection" shows a distinct timeline in the manufactories production and development. The book showcases some of the finest works in Greenberger's holdings and offers a guide for collecting early Meissen.
