I work as VP of Sales & Marketing at StarNet Communications (www.starnet.com), a Silicon Valley developer of software used by many of the world’s leading high-tech companies and top research institutions from NASA to CERN to our National Laboratories. Even the SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) Institute uses our X-Win32 and FastX tools to search for signals from alien civilizations.
I was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1954. I came to the United States in 1975 to attend California State University at Sacramento. I majored in Journalism as I was always drawn to writing. In 1978, I started my own business as a Silicon Valley correspondent for Computer, Science and Electronics magazines in Europe and the Far East. I live in San Jose, CA. Married for 26 years.
I am not a very technically skilled person but I have always enjoyed learning about the Universe. It seems odd that someone like me would be able to explain the Big Bang. Readers can decide for themselves whether I pulled it off. If nothing else, The Big Bang Collision Theory should be entertaining and provide some food for thought for anyone with an interest in the subject.
