Dr. Samuel (Savior Amen-Ra) Shabaka, PsyD, CASAC-ADV is an avid student of African studies with specialization in addiction and dissertation on PTSD in African Americans (work Trauma) of which he describes as “Plantation Psychosis”. Dr. Shabaka believes with specific practice and focus on addictive healing and Maat (Balance) and Sankofa (Return) Psychology could help relieve and break the generational (curse) of Africans from the haunts of enslavement which he believes would helps them to personally Break Free and develop a paradigm which would further assist our family to break free from the various addiction and trauma of mental bondage. Dr. Shabaka is the CEO and Co-Founder of Nubian Foundation Services, Inc; Nubian Recovery Advantage, LLC (2012) and Nubian Culture (Ghana) Exchange Project, (2015) which was designed to address the Maafa (African Holocaust) both in Africa and America. Nubian Culture Exchange (Sankofa) program is a youth driven education rites of passage project. The goal of the project is to a build a Dual Diploma Schools to bridge the cultural gap between the Ghanaians of Africa and African Americans in America.
