ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Frederick Kumolalo

Kumolalo was born and raised in Ekiti, Nigeria, where he earned his BA History (from the State University, Ado Ekiti). He also earned the History MA from the University of Ibadan and PhD History from Morgan State University where he specialized in the History of the African Diaspora and Twentieth Century History of the United States. He has had the privilege of serving on the faculty of the Ondo State University, Ado Ekiti, the University of Maryland, Baltimore County as well as Morgan State University. He also took a Master’s Degree in African American Studies which illuminated his understanding of American racial dynamics and this further piqued his interests in Social Challenges, both at the macro and micro level, ultimately leading him to take the Master Degree in Social Work and became licensed to practice in the State of Maryland. He is a student of leadership and has had the privilege of serving in different capacities of different corporations in African and the United States where he is Lead Coach/Consultant of Glocal Resources. He is also the Principal/CEO of the Qumolz Group, an educational, leadership and management training company based in the Washington/Baltimore metropolis. Previously, he has authored two books and this narrative/compiled essay will be his third biography.
