ABOUT THE BOOK

This is a history and photographic record of the genesis and creation of the four monumental sculptures in bronze permanently installed in June 2019 in the four niches under the dome of the Wyoming Sate Capitol in Cheyenne. These feminine allegorical sculptures were designed and created by American artist sculptor Delissalde (born and raised in Mexico City). The title of this oeuvre is "Four Sisters" and the titles of each are: Truth, Justice, Courage, and Hope. They announce a manifesto of Life which guides and guards the people of Wyoming. The "Four Sisters" were unveiled by Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon and former Gov. Matt Mead on July 9, 2019.
