Retired in 2020, Liz Fox (formerly Tottenham), was catalog editor and curriculum manager for Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, from 2000 until retirement due to the COVID pandemic. Prior to Florida Tech, she was a correspondent for the Florida Today/Gannet chain of newspapers. From the mid 1980's until 1998, she lived and worked in the United Kingdom, running her own company, EMT Advertising Consultancy, with clients such as the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness, the Royal Navy, and Vickers Shipbuilding and Engineering (now GEC Marine). This is her first young adult fiction manuscript. Based in Central Florida, across from Wickham Park in Melbourne, Liz has constant exposure to the fabulous creatures, both common and endangered, on a daily basis. She is available for freelance editing and writing.
