"Pedai" is a meditation on the dynamic of friendship and its influence on how humans relate to one another. Seeking his counterpart the One, the Other undergoes a transformation through conflict and connection: pedai or "fetters." His continued transformation through bonds with others becomes an authentic, but partial, awakening for the Other. At times humorous and at times dark, "Pedai" investigates the multi-layered and at-times painful connections that humans have with one another. The anti-heroic narrative of the youthful Other continues in this noir philosophy meditation.
