Originally from Dayton, Kentucky, Rhonda Kanet Chambless began her career in broadcasting as an artist in 1971 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her artistic talents and creative vision led her to serve 15 years in television, taking on roles such as Art Director, Camerawoman, Commercial Director, and On-Air Director for Metro Media Television. She further honed her skills as an On-Air Sports Talent, Reporter, and Director for ABC affiliate WKRC-TV in Cincinnati. She eventually became the mid-west Executive Producer of the Westinghouse Group W syndicated nightly national program PM Magazine, producing over 1100 programs in prime access.
In 1985, she left television to establish her own video production company, Kanet Productions Inc., which produces films and videos. The company created a second division in 2002 known as -the idea house- a national marketing firm. Ms. Chambless was the Creative Director, a Marketing Brand Strategist and Communications Planning Consultant. After ten successful years, the marketing firm was sold in 2012.
She remains CEO of Kanet Productions Inc., which will celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2025 and continues to focus on writing, producing, and hands-on implementation of special projects. She publishes personal stories and exposés on her website at Kanet Productions.com under the title of "Anything Worth Thinking About", and has written and published a biography, television memoir, artwork collection, and a home renovation book titled Casa Chambless-Tuscany in the Sonoran Desert. In addition, she is the Volunteer Marketing Director for Mary Queen of Heaven Missionaries, MQHM.org.
She and her husband, Ron, reside in Cave Creek, Arizona.
