SHORTS is what happens when four writers get together and discover—unbeknownst to one another—they each have short pieces of writing they’d like to share. Whether posing an intriguing question, presenting a surprising fact, or just reminiscing, the writing in SHORTS captures thoughts and feelings and dreams. Some of the writings are serious, some rub our funny bones, and each has the distinctive voice of its author. Our work includes amusing accounts of real incidents, simple tales conveying universal truths, and an informal sketch of admired photographers. We have poetry, politics, and pets. While we don’t promise solutions to the world’s problems, we do present unique knowledge and insight. You’ll find plenty of descriptive details and a few quirky characters.
