By: Weick, Cynthia, et al.

ABOUT THE BOOK

This Field Guide takes a unique approach to illuminating Monterey’s history by integrating two of the area’s deepest traditions: art and architecture. The architectural styles of 20 extant buildings are captured in artwork from the late-19th century through the mid-20th century. A self-guided tour allows readers to see the buildings, learn about the artists who captured them, and gain insight into their architecture and key people associated with them.
