ABOUT THE BOOK

This text explores the importance of obedience to God, emphasizing that debates or negotiations with God are unnecessary because He has already fulfilled His part; our role is to obey and manifest what has been completed through Christ. The section "Give and Invest" discusses the concept of giving, noting that everything we possess belongs to God and we are merely stewards or investors of His resources—our time, talents, tissue, and treasure. The idea of cheerful giving is highlighted, with scriptural references to support the principle that we cannot outgive God, as He blesses those who give generously. The discussion on the difference between "shall" and "will," using Psalm 23, clarifies that "shall" indicates an assurance of what God has already provided, rather than just a future promise. The author, Jimmie L. Sullivan, shares his personal journey of learning from God and being called to write so that others, especially those who might feel uneducated, can understand God's care and provision.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jimmie L Sullivan

Jimmie L. Sullivan was born in a small community called Leesburg, Mississippi. Even from childhood, he was amazed at how God took care of His Creation. So, he questioned God about it. God began telling Jimmie how He did it so that he would better understand God and His Creation. As Jimmie got older and more obedient, God told him to write. Jimmie said, “God wanted me, an uneducated servant, to tell it from that point of view, so that other uneducated persons like me would understand Him as I had learned.” And as a result, they could not use a lack of understanding as an excuse for not knowing.
