ABOUT THE BOOK

An Audience From Anywhere: The Practice Logbook is the companion volume to An Audience From Anywhere. Reading about presence is not the same as building it. This is where the second part happens — a place to write down what actually occurred on the call, while you can still remember it. Each exercise is keyed to a chapter of the book. Some are for the minutes before a call that matters. Some are for the hour afterwards, when you are still working out what happened. Several are built to be repeated, because a single entry rarely shows you much and a dozen of them will. Written for anyone whose work now happens through a lens — selling, leading, teaching, interviewing, or sitting in the meeting that decides something.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Adrian Roup

Adrian Roup grew up on film sets in South Africa, where his father built a career behind the camera. He moved to Los Angeles, ran FilmCrafter as a branded video studio, and directed TEDx Santa Monica. He has spent most of his working life on the other side of the lens from the people reading this. An Audience From Anywhere is his second book. The Practice Logbook is where it gets used. He lives in Santa Monica. Three things worth checking before you paste. The bio omits client names and your enterprise sales background — both are real, but a database profile reads better lean, and you can add either if the field allows length. Your main book almost certainly carries an author bio in its back matter. Whatever you use here should match it, and I don't have that file loaded. And ISBN US listings get scraped into retailer metadata, so this copy will surface in places you didn't put it. Worth reading the Title Summary once as if you'd found it on a shelf rather than written it.
