Julie Anne Dean writes and designs from Lafayette, California, where she lives with her husband and their blended children. By day, she works in the design industry building relationships across architecture and design studios throughout Northern California. She founded CREO, a home and lifestyle brand built around color, texture, and honest materials. Woof Means I Love You is her first children’s book, inspired by the golden retriever who spent nearly 18 years teaching her family what loyalty looks like. When she’s not working, Jules traveling, adventuring with her sons, mixing a Negroni, or starting a project she has no knowledge in on a random Tuesday night — yet somehow finishes it anyway.
